Your wedding day will be a day of excitement and joy but can also be testing. Make sure you have a trusted friend close to you at all times on your wedding day.

Your wedding planner will be an ideal person to deal with the logistics and last minute incidents that can come up on the day, leaving the champagne, nibbles, laughter and gossip to your and your loved ones.

Ask your wedding planner to check your look just before you leave the room, as he/she will be able to provide an objective and expert opinion before you meet your guests and face the cameras.

Share the "getting dressed" moments with close friends or relatives, this will provide laughter and memories for years to come. It is also a good idea to have a second make up artist and hair stylist close by for your bridesmaids and mother.

A sensitive yet eagle-eye photographer can be called in to record those moments, he/she can wait outside the room and only come in at specific times to take details of the dress, shoes, hair and make up etc. A similar approach could be taken for the groom.
